Big blow for the Chicago Intelligence cops! Indeed, actress Sophia Bush, who plays the role of detective Erin Lindsay since the very first episode of Chicago PD in 2014, has just announced that she would not be back next season.
While the final episode of season 4 of Chicago PD showed us Lindsay receiving a job offer from the FBI in New York, it seems that the actress took this opportunity to turn the page. His character was however one of the pillars of the series, "adoptive" daughter of Hank Voight (Jason Beghe) and girlfriend of Jay Halstead (Jesse Lee Soffer) who was about to propose marriage.
The departure of Sophia Bush will leave a big void in the hearts of Chicago PD fans as her character was appreciated by the public. It could be that the actress makes an appearance again to finish her plot. While the American channel NBC has just announced the cancellation of the series Chicago Justice, should we see a sign of the imminent return of detective Antonio Dawson (Jon Seda) in the series?
