Hispanic singer Ricky Martin got a recurring role in season 3 of American Crime Story which is dedicated to Versace, he will play the lover of the famous fashion designer.
The website TVLine has announced that Ricky Martin has indeed signed to play the role of Antonio D'Amico, the partner of fashion designer and murderer Gianni Versace in season 3 of American Crime Story.
The singer who is not at his first attempt (we could see him appear in Glee) joins an already prestigious cast composed of Edgar Rarmirez who will play Versace, Penelope Cruz who will play Donatella Varsace, the sister of the latter, and Darren Criss who will be in the skin of Cunanan.
Filming for season 3 of Ryan Murphy's series will begin at the end of the month and will air in 2018.
