Amazon has decided to bet on the works of Neil Gaiman, brilliant British author. After the success of the adaptation of American Gods, another of his books will be brought to the small screen. It is Good Omens, Good omens in French.
The showrunner of the project is none other than Neil Gaiman. Those who feared that the series would not best convey the particular universe of the book should be reassured. The book was originally written with Terry Pratchett. He is a humorous fantasy figure who has won several awards for his Discworld works.
Filming for Good Omens began on September 18 in London. It is expected to last six months and take place in different locations such as Oxfordshire, Dean's Forest and sites in South Africa. The French broadcast will take place on Amazon Prime Video in 2019.
The cast of this new series is of quality since it includes a duo of genius, David Tennant and Michael Sheen. The first played England's most famous doctor and the other was one of the leading figures in Masters of sex.
To follow the news related to the shooting, Neil Gaiman posts many photos of filming on his account.
