Amours Solitaires is an Instagram account well known to the general public, it has more than 750,000 followers to date. Its creator, Morgane Ortin, had the goal in creating it to lead a real "Revolution of love" as she says so well. We can say that his bet is successful. After the release of her two books by Éditions Albin Michel, she now announces the broadcast of the series Amours Solitaires on April 6 on YouTube and Instagram.
What is Amours Solitaires ?
As its name suggests, this Instagram account has as its main theme Love. To spread it all around her, Morgane Ortin had the idea of sharing exchanges, which really took place, on stories of the heart. To broadcast them to a larger number, what better than using the famous social network Instagram? The positive point of this account is clearly its authenticity. Readers can easily identify with messages, especially since they have an instant messaging platform as a visual. Also, everyone can via the site Amours Solitaires, transmit messages they have received or written, in the hope of seeing them appear on this account. Following its success, its founder had the excellent idea to create, from these many independent exchanges, a book bringing them together and forming a story between two young lovers. Here again, Morgane Ortin was right, it is a triumph, this book sells like hotcakes. Her book selecting 278 messages was published on October 31, 2018, a year later, she released Volume 2.

A web series dedicated to epistolary relations
From April 6, a series written by Joris Goulenok, directed by Xavier Reim and based on the books of Morgane Ortin, will bring to life the love story between Maud and Simon. Two formats will be available. A first on Instagram where IGTV will be posted every day, in vertical format, we will see the characters as if they were filming themselves. The second format, horizontal, will be available on YouTube and Arte.tv. As on her account and her books, Morgane Ortin reuses the exchanges of messages via phone, which we can see appear, during the episode, on the side. What differs the most from other media is that thanks to the audiovisual side of the series, we will have access to everything that happens outside of texting. This is a key advantage that allows you to play on the situations surrounding these messages. Between the advice of friends, moments of solitude, evenings of celebration… A whole bunch of atmospheres that will, we hope, be exploited in this universe.
