Yves Carini revisits Hymne à l'Amour by Edith Piaf on video. The jazz crooner is back in September with his third album The Way You Are. A record recorded between the United States and France with experienced musicians. It's been more than thirteen that we had lost track of this great jazz singer who met success twice, with the albums Un été parisien that he sold more than 15,000 copies, then Midnight Rendez Vous in 2007. Scalded by the disappearance of his label, Yves Carini then traveled a lot and took the time to refine his return, by recording the album of his dreams. Yves Carini thought big. He simply chose the best American session musicians and hired the greatest arrangers. A challenge for a French singer. It was his meeting with Jorge Calandrelli, Tony Bennett's arranger/director, Andrea Bocelli, Stevie Wonder, Michael Bublé that gave the project the impetus. The arranger opened the doors of Studio Capitol in Hollywood and his address book to him, to record an album arranged to the extreme. Yves Carini's caressing voice glides on the strings and brass with a talent that leaves you stunned and evokes Sinatra or the best voices of American jazz. The team will be joined by a second arranger: Randy Waldman. Then recordings in France at the Studio de la Grande Armée, with renowned musicians such as Vinnie Colaiuta, Randy Waldman (pianist of Barbara Streisand and George Benson.) The first single is Hymne à l'Amour, a cover of Piaf whose lyrics we all know. Listen to the way Yves Carini poses his voice, it is the proof of a great talent. Eagerly the sequel. "The blue sky over us can collapse And the earth may well collapse I don't care if you love me… " First single from the album The Way You Are, the singer Yves Carini tackles a monument of French song, the Hymn to love.
