After their first EP Family Affair, released in 2015, the Parisian band DISCO-NECTED releases its second EP Vision / Division, available since October 11th.
The band DISCO-NECTED is composed of Aziz Bentot on vocals and guitar, Jonathan Ghenda on bass and Lucas Pelletier on drums. With a clear vocal always full of energy and accompanied by welcome choruses, the album offers us five mesmerizing tracks that deliver a message of hope in a world of chaos. The dark tones are always compensated by this power that emerges from Aziz Bentot's singing. With very current themes, DISCO-NECTED encourages reflection and brings a message of peace, the most glaring example of which is in their song Unity:
Stand together in unity!
In four of their tracks, DISCO-NECTED achieves a tour de force: mixing power and dark riffs while communicating joy and energy to its listeners. In Waves and lies, more melodic, the group finishes captivating its audience with a much softer and melancholic title, which lulls us with the warm voice of Aziz Bentot and the discreet instruments of the trio. A title that bears its name well and offers us a cocoon resting in the hollow of the passionate waves of the EP.
A few days after the release of his EP, DISCO-NECTED shared on his YouTube page the clip of the last track of the album The wolf returns. Playing with light and shadow as the EP tries to bring light into the darkness of the world, the clip shows us the trio performing their song. This title perfectly reflects the style of the EP, where all the tracks are on an equal footing high on the quality scale.
A Just Focus is simple, we love their EP Vision / Division and we can't wait to discover their first album!
