The Californian band The Interrupters releases a new album on June 29th! Entitled Fight The Good Fight, the ska punk band is already fueling with its single She's Kerozene

She's Kerozene : an invulnerable single

She's Kerozene is pure bomb. A scrap metal in the eye of the fiercest blaze. It's an explosion of punk joy, a declaration of love coated with highly flammable gasoline, a fireworks display with a scratchy voice in a big concert of joyful and unbridled instru rock. We are looking forward to the continuation of the album Fight The Good Fight, to dance a little louder.

The Interrupters, a punk band with crazy energy

The band? It is The Interrupters, out of the shadows in 2014, with their first eponymous album: The Interrupters, followed by Say It Out Loud in 2016.

Known for their catchy titles like Babylon, By my Side, or Family (featuring Tim Armstrong, Rancid), the group also has a few EPs to its credit.
The woman in the hat is Aimee Allen. She is the one who sings. She has a deep voice, masculine accents under her overflowing femininity, black eyes and punk blood. But The Interrupters is also a family story. With her, three brothers are in charge. They are Kevin Bivona, the guitar seducer, and the twins: Jesse Bivona, the drum sorcer, and Justin Bivona, the bass demon.

Aimee Allen had a solo career before creating The Interrupters. She has acted in a few films, and has done the soundtrack for many others, alongside or not, the three Bivona brothers. She wrote the songs for the band, along with Kevin Bivona.

Kevin Bivona masters about twenty instruments, and is a sound engineer. Nice CV, right? He has worked with Rancid as an engineer and mixer. Versatile and talented, he was the one who integrated his brothers into the band after meeting Aimee Allen.
