Debout sur le Zinc brings together his albums and a good batch of unreleased and bonus tracks in an anniversary box set for his 20 years of career 1197 – 2017.

Already 20 years of career for the collective Debout sur le Zinc! Inevitably, it is celebrated!

An irresistible smile and a crazy audacity, that's how we could summarize Standing on zinc. On twirling rhythms, with rock, gypsy, Yiddish or oriental influences, the septet makes its choruses resume at the top of their lungs in a whirlwind of good humor. It's joyful, festive and smart! To listen carefully, Debout sur le Zinc is a musical cocktail of guitars, songs, drums, accordion, trumpets, banjos, clarinets, xylos and other instruments of all kinds, spiced up with words that dance, click, resist, explode or caress with strength and tenderness. In the tradition of the Blérots de R.Has.V.E.L. des Têtes Raides, or des Ogres de Barback, Debout sur le Zinc seduces with its originality and its shared music. Far from the media, the band has been able to trace its path: already 20 years of career and more than 2,000 concerts! It was time for a box set to testify to this busy career.

Here is one of the bonuses of the box, a new version of the hit Les Mots d'amour with Mamani Keita:

"We don't do the same songs at 20 and 40. They usually come from a strong emotion. We try to write with several readings, which gives the side a little poetic. It can also be feelings that are difficult to express poetically, such as "The flight forward". We find in the box set of the 20th anniversary of Debout sur le Zinc: – the 10 albums released by the group (including 2 live) – A disc that brings together the different titles recorded by the Debout sur Le Zinc for other groups (Bratsh, Ogres …) + the 2 most emblematic titles of Les Debouts: Les mots d'amour with Mamani Keita in re-recorded version and La déclaration with Boulevard des Airs in re-recorded version. – 1 "guestbook" notebook with words from the public
