Sol returns from The Voice 2016 with a mesmerizing single Vers Le Nord in which he delivers himself as never before and evokes his Kabyle origins. Magnificent.
Vers le Nord, Sol's new single to discover in clip on Just Focus.
Today, Sol tells his story with the clip of Vers le Nord which announces his first album in 2018. Great return for the semi-finalist on the show The Voice who had already released the hit My brother before the summer. Enjoying an undeniable popularity, Sol had the opportunity to sign a contract with the MCA label (Jonas Blue, Luis Fonsi…) of the subsidiary Universal Music France. It was therefore in March 2017 that the artist presented a first EP of four songs, notably carried by the eponymous title of the project "Mon frère" and his interpretation of the title "Crazy". A year after his participation in the TF1 singing competition, Sol is preparing to release his very first solo album soon. And for this first opus, the young talent collaborated with great feathers of French song. He called on Boris Bergman, Alain Bashung's lyricist, and Hubert-Félix Thiéfaine, among others. Before a full album planned for 2018, Sol releases today Vers le Nord in which he evokes his Kabyle origins, his quest for meaning and identity. Enough to listen carefully.
Here is Vers le Nord his new clip to watch:
Of Kabyle origin by his mother, Sol wants to tell a journey. His journey. Both spiritual and physical. As evidenced by the first verse of the song: "I have in my blood the mother, the father in my eyes / As sharp as my nerves, as true as a hope / I learned anger, I suffered in the dark / I walk on the earth, rich in my history. Vers le Nord is an auspicious single to reunite with Sol with his album in 2018, and hopefully, first concert dates.
