Slow Joe & The Ginger Accident release a third posthumous album: Let Me Be Gone with a first single, My Sway with which we find the inhabited voice of the singer Slow Joe who died last year.
After Sunny Side Up in 2011 and Lost for Love in 2014, Slow Joe and The Ginger Accident offer us a final part to their intense musical adventures. Let Me Be Gone will be the last album after the tragic death of Slow Joe, this shamanic Indian rocker with crazy charisma and a voice passed to sandpaper. The charisma of "Slow Joe", his crooner's voice, his celestial tramp draw and the complicity that united him to the Ginger Accident give their measure throughout the album Let Me Be Gone, farewell record, as intense as powerful, with titles like My Sway, Black Moon, or She makes love like Crazy as contagious as ancestral blues. Carried by critics and by his duet with singer Yaël Naïm for Cover Me Over, Slow Joe has become a must on the French rock scene and he has given hundreds of concerts allowing the public to fall under the spell of this self-taught musician. Slow Joe, born in 1943 in Bombay, has an innate musical talent, a dented crooner's voice and above all a youth of spirit remained intact. Cédric de la Chapelle, intrepid guitarist of the Lyon scene, met him in 2007 in Goa, helped him build a repertoire of unreleased songs, and formed him a tailor-made band (The Ginger Accident).
