Throughout Rebirth, Samy Thiébault mixes his influences, the rhythms that fascinate him, what he heard during his travels in the southern hemisphere and transcribes them in jazz language, virtuoso certainly, but burning with charisma. Rebirth makes us discover his Moroccan roots, West Africa where he grew up, the lands of South America where his quartet has toured a lot, and which he transfigures in the language of Jazz in a contemporary and modern way.
