On October 5, Rone will release an EP of remixes of the title "Mirapolis" and has entrusted one of them to Laurent Garnier. To wait, back in pictures on his concert at the Zenith of Paris last June.

Nearly a year since Rone made us discover Mirapolis, his fantastic and dreamlike city, colored by Michel Gondry and enriched by drummer John Stannier, among other rich musical and vocal collaborations.

For this 4th album, Erwan Castex had embarked us on a nice electronic journey, more accessible to less technophile ears but still magical.

A remix of "Mirapolis" by Laurent Garnier

As a big fan of collaborations, the artist will release on October 5 , still on the label inFiné, an EP of remixes of "Mirapolis", the first extract and eponymous title of his latest opus.

If we will also find the versions of producers Matias Aguayo and Johannes Brecht, it is the name of the artist who was entrusted with the third title of this EP that challenges us and makes us tremble with impatience.

Indeed, it is Laurent Garnier, father of French techno that Rone called to rework his little psychedelic gem. If it will be necessary to wait until the fall to discover this version as it should be, those who had the chance to see him in festival this summer, especially at Sonar or The Peacock Society, could hear him slip this long-awaited piece into his sets.

Already excellent independently of each other, the alliance of the two artists who carry French electro can only be explosive and highly qualitative.

For now, only Johannes Brecht's version is listening.

While waiting for the release of this EP and while Rone continues his tour, let's dive back into his last Parisian concert.

On June 15, the little genius of electro has indeed installed his fantastic city on the stage of the Zenith. After the Cigale, the Trianon and the Olympia, it is in this mythical room that the artist made dance the 6000 inhabitants of a night in Mirapolis.

RONE by Ludivine Pellissier on Exposure

If he particularly likes to share the show with those who participate in his albums, as was the case with Alain Damasio, François Mary or Etienne Daho to name a few, this time it is almost alone that Rone presented himself to the public. John Stannier, his faithful sidekick drummer was well in the game and the singer La Chica made a sweet appearance to accompany him for a song.

As usual, Erwan Castex transported the audience by offering them a journey full of poetry and creativity. In his gigantic and colorful setting, the electronic magician intertwines the different universes he has built through his four albums. If he has given pride of place to new titles with his now essential "Mirapolis", "Down The Cause" and "Brest" among others, he does not abandon his masterpieces such as "Vood(oo)", "Bye Bye Macadam" and the sublime "Parade".

If his last album was quieter than his previous productions, Rone was able to create a clever mix of softness and electronic power to satisfy all the dancing creatures who came to applaud him under a shower of confetti.
