On June 26, MAN WITH A MISSION performed on the stage of Le Petit Bain. After an exclusive interview (soon online), it was finally time for the show.

To thunderous applause, Merge opens the ball

As soon as you arrive on stage, the atmosphere is already at the rendezvous. I discover an extremely friendly French group and very touched by the immediate reactions of the public. A powerful voice, mastered to perfection even during volume increases, a real listening pleasure for the perfectionist that I am. The music is not to be outdone either, sometimes powerful sometimes quiet, we oscillate between very rock titles bordering on metal and others very soft, much closer to ballads. A beautiful communicative energy for a booming group to follow closely!

The dark settles, the voices break under the screams while, slowly, MAN WITH A MISSION enters the stage

Barely leaving us time to breathe, the show starts strong with an energetic Get Off of my way followed by one of the tracks of the latest EP Hey Now. Every chorus of every song is picked up by a wild audience and ready for anything. Almost each title is punctuated by a few thoughtful words from Jean-Ken Johnny always touched by the love of the French public.

The titles follow one another without looking alike and the temperature rises without ever stopping. A DJ Santa Monica solo sets the audience on fire. "Are you okay? It's super hot here, are you hot too?" He ended up asking an audience liquefied by the unbearable heat "Hey guys" he continued, pointing to his head "It's fur!". Smiles light up the faces, almost forgetting the sweat that beads at every moment. The first part stops on a Dead End in Tokyo so eagerly awaited by all!

The room turns black. On the back wall, images come alive and a Japanese voice begins to tell us a story. The history of the group put in animated! The audience screams before not letting out a single noise during the entire projection, moved. And here we go again for a career overview with, obviously, their version of Smell Like Teen Spirit so dear to our wolves. Following him, only a few notes before the whole room is filled with small French flags with the effigy of the group. It's of course time for Raise your flag !

We keep taking back the choruses to lose the voice, as long as she holds the concert, that's the main thing. The concert ends with Fly Again necessarily choreographed by the whole audience. Finished? Not really. The band returns one last time to follow on an obvious Dog Days and the show really ends on Emotions which is really filled with it.

A live at the height of their habits, intense, powerful, an excellent experience to repeat as soon as possible!
