[POSTPONEMENT] YEAST & Two Faces at La Boule Noire: music and energy

Wednesday, October 10, the two groups Yeast and Two Faces came to defend their new EP. In concert at the Boule Noire, the two groups with different atmospheres, managed to charm a delighted audience. Between music, energy and pop. 

Part One: Two Faces

When you see Two Faces arrive, you don't expect such a controlled scene. Still, if there's anything Two Faces controls, it's the stage. Under crazy lights, the group seems to take a lot of pleasure to play.

What surprises us at first is that two singers are part of the group. If one is at the piano or drums, the second is at the microphone, and vice versa. Gripping. Juggling between old and new tracks from an EP to be released very soon, Two Faces seduces its audience. 

The pop group is also very vocally reminiscent of bands such as Placebo. Powerful, mastered, the group Two Faces is a group to watch very closely. Their new EP will be available on October 19th. 

Second part: Yeast

After a well-deserved intermission of a few minutes, Yeast takes the stage. With already a well-established fan club, the group surprises us, this time, with the visual of its performance. Their new EP, Dust Of Light was unveiled last Friday. And we can say that it is a very good success. Mixing pop, electro and independent music, Yeast holds the bet to release a particularly electric EP. 

The EP opens with the track Closer. An aerial title, cut for live. Proven by the reaction of the public to the musicality of the title: one of the best of the EP. On stage, Yeast continues the titles of their third but also two other EPs, and with success.

Walls comes to amaze us with lyrics in French (the band is from Lyon). A welcome mix of languages. Rêveries is a bit of the UFO of this EP. Initially a ballad, the title transforms into an aerial energy.

Yeast succeeds in transmitting on stage what they wanted to convey with the EP. An overflowing energy, proven by the final title, We Are The Same, also mounted for the stage. A favorite title, in line with a Foster The People. Future hit? We only wish them that! 

Yeast has just released their new EP Dust Of Light, available on all platforms. To find them, they will be this October 18 at the Péniche Cancale in Dijon and at the Nuits de Champagne festival in Troyes. For Two Faces, their EP will be available on October 19th.
