This week Justfocus makes you discover a freshly born and little known alternative rap group: Chewsome.
Chewsome is a Parisian group made up of 4 young rappers: Aliocha, Super Ray, John Raino and Yungbollz. All 21 years old, they compose and produce hip hop music inspired by the American alternative sound as well as by the classics of the genre, not to mention soul, jazz, rock or pop, and other alternative scenes.
Artists who inspire them the most, we can mention: Earl Sweatshirt, the collective Odd Future, the Black Hippy collective (which includes Kendrick Lamar), Kanye West or Flying Lotus and Gorillaz.
Chewsome (translate: "chew a little") is therefore the result of the collaboration of these 4 young artists who have each come to self-produce a very personal musical project. And the least we can say is that they are quite talented.
