The electro-rock duo Purple Ashes announces the release of their EP Dreamers on May 20, 2021 with a splendid first video, Get My Way, in the musical selection of Justfocus. After the release of the EP Someting In The Air, Purple Ashes raises the level again with Dreamers, a powerful and melodic EP on which shines the voice of Clémence de la taille who carries the group and ensures the artistic direction. This dreamlike and luminous duet in which we find the composer Syan borders so much on eclectro pop, sometimes seventies rock, a great controlled gap, which brings a contagious energy to titles like Get My Way, the first extract of the record. The clip was directed by Marie Genevoix (graphic designer/director) and Jérôme d'Aviau (Editing / FX) between two lockdowns, and we see Clémence evolving between water and sky. The territories surveyed by Purple Ashes follow the paths of electro-pop in a dark universe from which light emerges. The floating and rowdy rhythms surprise by their marriage with the heady melodies. The simple and elegant female voice twirls with the electronic sounds of a tightrope walker.

Clémence de la taille chose Purple Ashes as her musical surname. This multidisciplinary artist based in Bordeaux is also an activist in the duo Calame, along with her brother Arthur. This author/performer is also a painter and metal sculptor. His Purple Ashes project also involves Syan, keyboards and machines with which he excels. Dark, the electro-rock of Purple Ashes still lets the light filter thanks to the splendor of the melodies. This allows him to create atmospheric and mesmerizing soundscapes.
