"The codes of electronic music, the toplines of soul music. You will not fail to enjoy the first EP of the Franco-British duo POSTAAL, AA1, which will be released on June 3rd.
We discovered POSTAAL with the release of two almost simultaneous tracks, first via his featuring on The Shoes' single "Give It Away" last summer, then with their track "(Taking My) Freedom" unveiled on the web and included in Nova's playlist. From the Palais de Tokyo to the Nuits Zébrées, via the Transmusicales in Rennes or across the Channel, the duo has met one another and dotted its path with heady notes and well-calibrated melodies.
It was in August 2014 that Dennis (the English man) and Hervé (the French guy) met. Their credo?"The requirement of pop writing but with the soul of gospel! The result, an electro pulse, placed on more soaring piano notes and warm voices that carry you away.
Let's go back to "(Taking My) Freedom", inspired by Jill Scott's Golden , we never get tired of it!
