On December 22nd, ONE OK ROCK will ignite the Zenith stage with their latest album, AMBITIONS, already number 1 in Japan with 250,000 albums sold in the first week of its release. With no less than 3 duets and already 5 clips available, the band is once again imposing itself in the Japanese Alternative Rock scene.
Ambitious ambitions
The band gives us a charm tour with this album. Between melancholy and hope, the titles are linked in a mixture of emotions simply delectable. He even honors us with a title in French, Bon Voyage, as if to conquer our hearts even more (although the song itself is not the most joyful!).
One album, two versions!
J-Musique bands are fond of it and ONE OK ROCK is no exception to the rule, so the album AMBITIONS offers a local version and a US/EU version, each with their specificities. Indeed, 3 songs differ completely depending on the version! For example, their latest hit mentioned above, American Girl, is only present on the US/US version, perhaps the occasion of a future single? Listen, meanwhile, is granted two versions, a "normal" version on the album EU while the Japanese album offers the luxury of a magnificent duet with Avril Lavigne, which I can only encourage you to discover.
