This year, we celebrate the 25th edition of the Festival des SUDS in Arles. The SUDS team has imagined a singular edition, adapting to the particular health context and its constraints to offer the public the happiness of shared music.

Ballaké Sissoko and Vincent Ségal will be on the stage of the Alyscamps on July 18, 2020 as part of the Precious Moments. The opportunity for the Festival audience to discover or rediscover a duo that celebrates the living poetry of the world through music of great nobility of spirit and profound simplicity.

"Today when we play, we understand each other without even talking to each other: a simple look is enough. Our hearts are together."

Sheltered from the terrible rumblings of humanity, the strings of the master of the Malian kora and that of the virtuoso of the cello unite in a free and borderless dialogue, an inventive and prolific musical conversation, nourished by multiple influences: African classical music, baroque, jazz, Brazilian, gypsy, and meditative improvisations.

Since the release of Chamber Music in 2009, a real success with the public and critics, the music of Ballaké Sissoko and Vincent Ségal has continued to travel the world and to enrich itself. In perspective, therefore, an upcoming concert in Arles that promises to delight the public and the organizers of the Festival des SUDS.
