Merge will celebrate the release party of his 2nd album on December 2nd at the Flèche d'Or in Paris. Accompanied by guests like Paerish and Tri Hidden Panic, the evening promises to be lively!
This is a band that should delight Post Hardcore fans!
Originally from Paris, Merge was born in 2011 between the voice and the cries of Anthony, Julien's guitar. In 2012, released a first EP: Transmission on an American label. It was then the beginning of a promising career that allowed them to tour all over France and Europe with groups such as Dance Gavin Dance, La DIspute or Touche Amore.
Their first album, Elysion, arrived a year later and immediately appealed to fans of ISIS, Thursday, Underoath, Envy or Hopesfall. Then begins a new series of shows that will gradually lead them to play with Rise Against, Bad Religion, before opening for Limp Bizkit, Architects, Circa Survive or The Used.
The band then has 5 members: Max (vocals), Julien (guitar, piano), Charly (guitar), Tim (bass) and Kazu (drums). After more than 150 concerts, the band went back to the studio to deliver us today a 2nd opus, Ineffable. At the helm, Al Groves, the British who has already worked with Adele, Artic Monkey, bring the Horizon or Coldplay.
