As a reminder, Martin Garrix's passion – Martijn Garritsen of his real name – for music appears very early. He began playing guitar at the age of six.
In 2004, when he was only eight years old, he expressed his interest in DJing after watching his compatriot Tiësto play at the Athens Olympics on television. Martijn Garritsen is particularly enthusiastic about the track "Traffic", which pushes him to download the specialized software (FL Studio) to start composing his own songs. Martijn Garritsen completes the Brood Herman Academy, a production school in Utrecht.
At the age of fourteen, he was already a "Ghost Producer" and composed songs for other disc jockeys. He became known worldwide with his title " Animals" in 2013.
