1. Buy tickets on the official Main Square website
Everyone knows that finding a place for Main Square when you have waited too long is sometimes an obstacle course. No wonder! With a rich and varied lineup that attracts thousands of people each year, the Main Square Festival has quickly become one of the most coveted music festivals. It continues to grow and beats its own attendance records every year.
The advice we give you is to go as soon as possible to the official website of Main Square, or one of its partners, to recover the last passes available (be careful, it becomes complicated for Saturday …). Do not be tempted by buying tickets sold by individuals. This is the bad plan assured: high price, fake tickets, refusal of access to the festival,… This is sometimes tempting, especially when some days are sold out on the official website. Next time, follow the JustFocus news and book your passes as soon as the ticket office opens.
2. Treat yourself to the VIP offer
And why not? After a year of working at work, you deserve the VIP treatment! The Main Square offer includes access to the VIP tent with a champagne bar, a private screen to watch some shows, a photo booth to immortalize the weekend with friends, after-shows with DJs, toilets (the ultimate luxury in the middle of the festival!) and catering services that delight you at any time of the day. You can also sit with a drink on one of the many canapés / poufs available to enjoy the well-deserved rest of the festival-goer who has walked the Citadel of Arras all day.
3. Take part in one of the many free activities
During these three days of festival, activities will be offered to relax or have fun between two concerts. In the morning, you can attend yoga or pilates sessions, then get a massage in the late morning. In the afternoon, football and petanque tournaments will be organized, as well as a huge Blind Test. These last activities will allow you to leave with goodies!
A stand of ephemeral tattoos, as well as board games (July 7 & 8) will also be available.
4. Preload your Cashless account now
What is cashless? This is the one and only payment method used in Main Square. No more blue cards placed at the bar and unfortunately forgotten. No more coins and notes lost in the crowd. To pay for your drinks and other purchases, you will use the cashless bracelet, which will be given to you at the entrance of the festival. The latter, once loaded with the amount of your choice, will allow you to pay for your purchases with peace of mind.
Tested and approved, this bracelet will remain on your wrist for the duration of your festival. But in order to start the Main Square experience as soon as you enter the Citadel of Arras, preload your cashless account. Indeed, this will save you from having to queue for long minutes. Plan a sum that seems reasonable to you for the duration of your stay, and then enjoy the concerts.
5. Greenroom jungle huts
New this year, the two jungle huts: Tropical and Urban. Behind these names are hidden places, decorated in collaboration with the artist Wietse, in which some handpicked DJs will have carte blanche. VINYL Dealer, Too Many Cars, Simply Seb, Aquariel, … Enough to stay in the mood between two concerts or at the end of the evening!
