The one who was currently supposed to provide the first parts of Dua Lipa during the Future Nostalgia EU Tour, takes advantage of the confinement to unveil a new track.Almost a year to the day after the release of her first album High Highs to Low Lows, singer Lolo Zouaï releases her new single It's My Fault.
Lolo Zouaï, a future safe bet
Active in music since 2016, it is only for 2 years that Lolo Zouaï has managed to make himself known to the general public. Franco-Algerian singer who grew up in the United States, Lolo Zouaï manages through her music to reach a wide audience. Indeed, because of its origins and influences, its music is a real identity card. She manages to incorporate both R&B sounds as well as touches of Algerian music. All this accompanied by lyrics sung in English and French, in an alternative pop tone. With It's My Fault, Lolo Zouaï returns smoothly to a soul ballad, produced by Emmit Fenn. The track is accompanied by a music video directed by the artist herself, sitting in a field of flowers on the hills of Malibu. This one blends perfectly with the delicate atmosphere of the piece. 
Love or friendship
Delicacy yes, but not only! As Lolo Zouaï points out, there is a strong contrast between the musical and visual atmosphere (video clip and cover), and the lyrics. It is according to the artist "a song itself dark". Indeed, she describes a friendly relationship that gradually turns into a romantic relationship, for which she does not seem ready. The young singer tells us about a moment of tipping point where 2 people realize that they are "more than friends, less than lovers". So there is a paradox and a surprise at first listening! This is also what the artist appreciates with this music which, as she says, "makes you think twice". Lolo Zouaï is therefore taking advantage of the confinement to make music and entertain his audience, especially with his Room Service Festival Performance on Instagram. However after this particular period, it will be possible to find the singer on stage in the first part of the Future Nostalgia which has been postponed to next year. A date is scheduled in France at the AccordHotels Arena, February 8, 2021!
