A first single from the album Les gens du Nord, Mademoiselle from Armentières performed by the Miss du Nord has just been released!
The album Les gens du Nord will be released on August 31st . For the first time, 24 iconic artists proudly sing 15 must-see songs from the North. Among them, Alain Souchon, Enrico Macias, Maxime Le Forestier, Line Renaud or the Fatal Picards take up treasures of the popular song of the region. The project is also sponsored by Dany Boon and 1 euro per album purchased will be donated to the Ch'ti Fonds. Five Miss du Nord, Camille Cerf, Maëva Coucke, Elodie Gossuin, Rachel Legrain-Trapani and Iris Mittenaere , recorded Mademoiselle from Armentières, an emblematic song of the First World War made famous by Line Renaud.
