The Bubbles Sonores festival returns to Limoux in the Aude for the sixth consecutive year. From October 19 to 21, more than 20 bands including Synapson, Eddy de Pretto, Feu! Chatterton, Groundation, Soom T, Théo Lawrence & The Hearts or Nasser will succeed each other on the Tremesaygues site in an intimate and warm atmosphere.
It continues to grow. Last year, nearly 14,000 spectators came to the Bubbles Sonores festival in Limoux in the Aude (11), just 25 km from the famous City of Carcassonne. It seems that word-of-mouth is doing its work on an audience that is still as enthusiastic as ever during the festival. Enough to give balm to the heart of the festival which begins its sixth edition with a rich and eclectic program. From Friday, October 19 to Sunday, October 21, more than twenty groups will walk the three stages of a festival that everyone considers good-natured and intimate. Exit the blockbuster festivals where you have to pile up and run between each scene to hope to see an international star. In Limoux, it is "cool", the beer remains reasonable and it is possible to taste a good wine since it is located in the AOC of Limoux.
If the festival is on a human scale, it does not have to blush in front of other festivals with a program that the organizers wanted for all tastes: electronic music, rock, hip-hop, song, reggae, etc. At the opening of the festival, Friday, October 19, we will find the charming duo of Brigitte. They will be followed by the Zapatista guerrilla from Belgrade Emir Kusturica & The No Smoking Orchestra. Change of pace to end the evening with DJ Panda Dub who will present his new show entitled Circle. On the other stage, we will find the talented MC Soom T who will come to defend her new album Born Again! It will give way to the musical meeting of Soviet Suprem which will in turn give the stage to the war machine of the People of the Grass.
Saturday, October 20 will begin with the revelation of the Printemps de Bourges: Eddy de Pretto. Still on the French scene, it's Fire! Chatterton who will extend the evening before the electronic music duo Synapson closes the evening of the big stage. On the other side, on the bubble scene, you will have to sweat with the energetic electro-rock of Nasser but also to compose with the electro of Bagarre or the live of Acid Arab.
This festive weekend will end on Sunday, October 21 with the phenomenon Moha La Squale, the mix of world sound with Winston McAnuff & Fixi and the elegance of Theo Lawrence & The Hearts. On the big stage, we will find the jazz and folk of Charlie Winston, the mesmerizing electro of Romeo Elvis and finally the reggae/jazz of a mythical group: Groundation.
