Noucky's picks

The Black LeadersMister President

If you ask me why I chose this title, the answer will be simple. The clip is completely "What the fuck" and it's fun, it feels good to decompress from a busy 2017. Then the voice is cool; well rocked, well weighed and placed. And finally, the music is downright catchy : good rock from behind the bundles with some space sounds in the background, a little dark atmosphere and something that scratches enough to make it take to the guts! A bluesy guitar comes to caress everything. It's super effective!

Mai LanBlaze Up

The end of the year is approaching and it seems obvious and important to me to keep up the pace. Fortunately Mai Lan is here to give us the tempo and train us with a super punchy track that has been hanging around for some time on the airwaves, but now has its own clip. A great choreography and two girls who have fun with encouraging words to give will and motivation for 2018! Go on girl!

MogliTwo Lungs

Before ending the year, Mogli offered us a new moment of grace: Two Lungs. Two Lungs is definitely one of my favorite tracks on Wanderer, Mogli's debut album . This young woman is one of my most beautiful discoveries of the year. With as much sweetness as ever, she puts her voluptuous and angelic voice on a piano that is amplified over the song to finish in apotheosis with a small joyful and light folk rhythm that makes you want to twirl and run away … Very far! A new invitation! Where will you be going in 2018?

Moonshine Oversight Feel

Vanishing Lines is the debut album by Moonshine Oversight, a progressive rock band from La Garde. The video for Feel was released a week ago and introduces us perfectly into their musical universe. These are rich and carefully constructed compositions , a calm song, well placed, which serves the music wonderfully and all in a melancholic setting that invites introspection. We can already make you want to discover the rest of their album by announcing that the whole is just as good and worth the detour!

Simon's Choice

Imagine Dragons, KhalidThunder / Young Dumb & Broke (Medley/Audio)

Both nominated for the 2018 Grammys, singer Khalid and the band Imagine Dragons reunite at the end of the year for a medley of Young Dumb & Broke and Thunder. After playing it at the American Music Awards, here is the studio version. The result is surprising and confusing but worth listening. This is the perfect opportunity to look back on these 2 hits that marked the year.

Emma's choices

McbaiseContesso

The Anglo-Cannes band with the flowery name is back this week with a new clip. Contesso is a track from their new album WINDOWSILL released on September 15th , and the clip all in his image, is of a relaxed aesthetic almost summery. No headache, only good vibes: we invite you to let yourself be seduced by Mcbaise.

Peach PitDid I Make You Cry On Christmas Day? (Sufjan Stevens Cover)

Peach Pit is our pleasure to come back strong this week with a little season cover. Don't be fooled by the word "Christmas" in the title, there will be no Christmas magic, but 3 minutes 43 minutes of seasonal nostalgia. The original is from the album Joy – Songs for Christmas – Vol. IV by Sufjan Stevens released in 2005. It's almost like the song was written for the band…
