Daughter – Burn It Down
On the occasion of the release of the video game Life Is Strange: Before The Storm, a prequel to the original video game that will focus on Chloe's past, Square Enix has decided to collaborate with the English group Daughter. It came out this song both beautiful and in keeping with the universe of the game when we remember the soundtrack of the first which contained Foals, Angus & Julia Stone, alt-J, Local Natives, Mogwai and many others. This collaboration is not really surprising because their song Numbers was used in the trailer of the game. In any case, other songs are coming before the release of the first episode on August 31st…
Kesha – Boots
Kesha released her first album Rainbow since 2013 on Friday because of her legal battle with her producer Dr. Luke. We tell you about Rainbow in detail here. Above, Boots is the song that most recalls his beginnings with electro songs like Ki$$ N Tell or Backstabber but especially Boots & Boys, which is a lot of fun!

Liv Dawson – Painkiller
Co-produced by the British duo Honne that we have already told you about several times, this piece by the young Liv Dawson makes its little effect while finding a lot of the universe of Honne, both in the lyrics and in the melodies. Anyway, Liv Dawson is an artist to follow closely!

Froth – Shut the Windows
This is something to put in your mouth as the last summer moments approach. If on a desert August 15th you are thirsty for rock ' roll (or if you do not know who the guys who spend in the early evening at LA ROUTE DU ROCK), RELIEVE YOURSELF WITH Froth. Anything but an oasis, the indie-rock frangrance of their latest album "Outside" is as real as a good War On Drugs. He also mentions Amen Dunes, My Bloody Valentine or The Dead Meadows. The enticing production will sweeten the edge of this cocktail (including flutes, krautock drums), while the large panel of guitars (from the quietest to the most brutal, from Dream pop to shoeagazing) will be the cherry (on the cocktail, for those who follow). The one with the distracted and dispassionate ear will find all this banal, while the music lover, the runner of amazing sounds, who will have read these last lines and who already listens to it on You Tube, will love it.
The National – Carin at the Liquor Store
The Brooklyn-based band, authors of heartbreaking masterpieces like "Fake Empire", delivers a few nuggets here and there, including this ballad heralding other wonders.
Peaking Lights – Everytime I See the Light
Attention, bizzarerie jouasse. These neo hippies have amazed with their psyche in slow motion mode and their repetitive, slyly psychotropic dreams. With their new opus "The Fifth State of Consciousness" released recently, they have released their eph legs. Hear it, for a group of this cool obedience and without hurry, an atmosphere a tad more disco, but always with these lazy and miraculously enticing gimmicks. This euphoric lo-fi à la Bentley Rhythm Ace, maybe that's what hippies are today. It is this happy nihilism that makes you waddle your head without purpose, even if the sky falls on you, it does not matter, there is Peaking Light.

Peach Pit – Seventeen
The Canadians of Peach Pit are back this week with the new music video for a not-so-new single from their album Sweet FA. Three minutes 36 minutes of crazy dance in different settings and a very quiet indie track: in short it is the perfect cocktail for an August playlist! Only disappointment, according to the latest news, the group has not planned a European date.
Cold War Kids – So Tied Up ft. Bishop Briggs We knew Cold War Kids and we knew Bishop Briggs
, but nothing predicted this featuring. And yet from the first notes everything seems perfectly in its place. So Tied Up is the logical result of the voices of Nathan Willet and the English singer. The clip is also worth seeing, featuring a couple desperately looking for a way to get rid of each other: a touch of humor that only serves the lyrics of the song. So Tied Up can be found in the album LA Divine by Cold War Kids!

RUSSKAJA – Alive
The Austrian metal band Russkaja unveils the clip of the title "Alive" from their new album Kosmopoliturbo released a few days ago. A clip that is simple, original and colorful, just like the song. A little breath of good humor that we never get tired of!

Chelou – Damned Eye See
The Londoner Chelou is one of those artists who have found a signature, an immediately recognizable style and his new title, "Damned Eye See", is no exception! Between acoustic folk and aerial synths, it was composed in a room, with the voice of his 8-year-old sister and cups as percussion. From this piece that "represents him taking the subway every day watching all this shit go south", Chelou manages to make a ballad full of poetry and sweetness, to listen to his moderation!
