Three letters, three voices, three talented and energetic artists back with a third album of compositions entitled "Pas Peur" released on May 29, 2020.
Lucie, Élisa and Juliette, form the musical trio L.E.J. (acronym of their first name) and their story is well known.
A friendship of the conservatory at the Maîtrise de Radio France which led them in Autumn 2013 to the birth of the group to participate in a competition organized by Tryo, which they would later win. But it is in 2015 that they reveal themselves thanks to their mashup of "Summer 2015", a real tradition established since with a "Summer" every year. An unexpected success with thousands of views on each video that immediately propels them in France and abroad at the heart of tours conquering halls and festivals.
Today, these three childhood friends who shared and still share the same passion, that of music, has three albums on the counter, the latest of which is entitled "Pas Peur".
Even "Pas Peur": An album of original songs
An album release that they were quick to celebrate with their fans live on Youtube Music.
L.E.J has been able to make a place for itself in the French musical landscape, tuning vocal and instrumental harmonies, symbol of their singularity.
True to themselves, the "Three Musketeers" with intertwined voices do not abandon their instruments with eclectic sounds and influences between harmonies and novelties.
Prolific artists, with their latest album, the three young women show that they are not cold in the eyes and are afraid of nothing. As usual, the three friends give us their vision of the world, painting humanity by revealing its ambivalence.
Overcome in music with an album rich in collaborations. Sixteen new titles with which they return, surrounded by different artists such as Bigflo & Oli with the title "Tu es", Chilla "Toucher Couler", Fakear "Paris en hiver", Kemmler "La vie n'est qu'un Je" or Youssoupha with the title "Milliards de Roses".
Opus 16: an ode to life
In this album, the trio deals with subjects that remind us of recent events. Indeed, opus 16 echoes the planetary chaos and generational issues emerging with raw lyrics.
Not even afraid of hell, not afraid of oblivion Not afraid to stay until dessert in family meals Not afraid of being indecisive, not afraid of being a fool Not afraid of a failed tattoo, not afraid of baldness Not afraid of the disease, more afraid of my first times But fuck, I'm afraid you can live without me
Evoking the health crisis and the fear of this new virus, it is a call not to succumb to the fear that L.E.J launches us. An ode to life that pushes us to move forward and enjoy every moment.
