Klone was in Paris for an exceptional evening on the air. Two acoustic concert sessions to discover live their magnificent Unplugged ! It was in the very pleasant setting of the Antenna that Klone had given appointment to his fans. Two concerts on Saturday, March 11, two intense sessions. Thanks to Guillaume Bernard for allowing us to attend the second: the trip was wonderful!
A first part of Brittany
More accustomed to amplified concerts, with big guitars and a heavy sound, Brieg Guerveno nevertheless responded to Klone's invitation to play alone and acoustically on stage. Without his band, a little intimidated, sometimes trying to fill the silences between 2 accords, the singer from Saint Brieuc offered us a very beautiful first part in Breton language. He takes care to translate the titles before each piece and explain the context. Very friendly and grateful, he is widely praised and applauded by the public. https://youtu.be/cYyikT_AdgY Vocally, we completely cracked! So we went to discover his music and we recommend it:
Unplugged by Klone
As soon as they arrived on stage, the band was immediately given a standing ovation. We can say that everyone here was eager to listen to this acoustic live. On stage, the band has a smile on their faces and the atmosphere promises to be relaxed. Aldrick begins an intro of Nirvana, a little nod to the famous unplugged and an original way to get into the bath. After a few laughs, there is silence… Klone then begins by playing Immersion, the first title of the acoustic album and always an excellent setting. Yann Ligner's voice rises and we are directly immersed in the magic of these new arrangements. On stage, the composition of the band is different than on the CD. We find of course the singer and the 2 guitarists (Guillaume Bernard and Aldrick Guadagnino), but we also find Florent Marcadet on drums and a cellist. We guess then that the concert will have yet another color and that we will not hear a similar version of the titles of Unplugged. The concert takes place and we are completely caught up in their music. The public is attentive, enthusiastic; He applauds and shouts at the end of each piece and his reactions will crescendo throughout the concert. Klone sings his cover of Depeche Mode, People Are People which is unanimous. This title is really excellent and the live keeps its promises. When the band plays Grim Dance, the atmosphere rises again and the audience gets carried away, supporting the group, leaving a silence perhaps too wise and resuming habits specific to all metal concerts, very quickly encouraged by the two guitarists. https://youtu.be/QJR48E-24T8 The temperature is rising; It's getting hotter and hotter in the room. The members of Klone are smiling on stage and continue to joke from time to time: Guillaume takes advantage of a timeout between 2 songs to play the credits of the ad for Herta ham. The audience reacts, hilarious! But the concert is coming to an end. We are entitled to this beautiful cover of Summertime before ending with grace on the title Nebulous.
A reminder too short!
Klone doesn't leave the stage and the audience insists on an encore. The band took the opportunity to exchange with their fans; The audience is far too wise for their taste. 'There's no more beer' retorts a fan in the room. The cellist also enters the game and, like a running gag, takes the intro of Nirvana on the cello. Aldrick then proposes: " You want metal? ' Howl from the audience. The two guitarists then start strumming their strings harder on a few bars before calming down and returning to Unplugged. Klone offered us a wonderful evening, funny, touching and strong in reunion with their fans. The conditions of this live was really optimal, the sound excellent and the play of light gave a special atmosphere, between the amplified concert and the intimacy of an acoustic set. Special mention to Florent Marcadet who was really at full strength and whose percussion gave a new dimension to Unplugged, almost dark folk or pagan. A pure moment of pleasure that we recommend you go see! PCPooPaatch Wincracky Bagas3-1
