We knew Siméo, it is now under the pseudonym of Kitten that the singer reveals himself. The artist, who will unveil his very first opus Possible on March 9, 2018, singularly takes over a must of Celine Dion.

A first album in March carried by the Poésies

Under his long shirtshides a musician and a very atypical poet. In November 2017, the 34-year-old singer offered a first single for the least surprising, Poésies. An intoxicating and haunting pop melody tinged with an electronic dub, in which he declaims his love for poetry, synonymous with escape or remedy. He drapes his song in a very self-tuned voice, which almost colors the song with sensuality. This singular voice is what draws the artist, but also what surprises. A dazzling modernity, which we then find in the songs J' attends en bas or N' importe quoi, built on the same pattern. His sung electronic poems flirt with a hint of monotony, without being tiresome.

The takeover of Celine Dion, a daring bet

The singer, who signed the hit Je Danse de Jenifer, or to whom we owe some songs by Yannick Noah or Natasha St-Pier, now unveils an unexpected cover, and not least. He dared to cover Pour que tu m'aimes encore by Céline Dion, well known to all and which still resonates in the heads. Kitten offers a very personal version, in which he once again rubs shoulders with auto-tune… Maybe too much? A cover that summarizes its artistic proposals and originality. The cover of the singer who "dreams of collaborating with Celine Dion" divides however, some note a lack of innovation and naturalness, others are conquered. Kitten had the audacity to offer us his own version, and just for that, we take our hats.

Chaton's urban poetry will be available on March 9, 2018, when his album Possible is released. Note that you can also listen to it live on March 22 at La Maroquinerie in Paris, Marseille or Metz. We only have to wish good luck to this singular artist!
