2015 was a year of success. Josef Salvat returns to France in April for some new dates that will end at the Olympia on November 3.
Josef Salvat, a favorite
It made its first appearance in France at Les Etoiles, before being broadcast on all radio stations in English and French. The young Australian dandy Josef Salvat has been able to capsize many hearts since March 2015. His first album Night Swim is a brilliant mix of pop, electro, soft and rhythmic songs, subtly mixing what is best at the moment but without bombast or headache. Elegance, freshness and a disconcerting nonchalance that is not to displease us. At the beginning of the year, he surprises us again with his clip Paradise, 3rd extract of Night Swim … And here again our darling offers us a French version! Josef again called on Ollie Wolf (who had been in charge of the direction of Open Season) and the video was shot in London. It mixes fact and fiction, facts that happened last year or that the singer imagines. In the end, we understand that he is always looking for his paradise.
In short, at Just Focus we quickly understood that this thirty-year-old would go far.
Recently, he announced a tour for the month of March in England with The Half Earth in the first part, which we may also talk about soon. We thought that the dates had sold out in France, this gentleman would fake our company to lock himself in the studio for a new opus, but it seems that he has become addicted to the stage. Josef will be back on French soil in April with several dates in Nancy, Clermont, Bordeaux… before finishing in apotheosis at the Olympia in Paris on November 3rd. Josef Salvat will also be on the set of Taratata on France 2, with a poignant cover of "Ne me quitte pas" by Jacques Brel! We naturally hope to see it appear in the festival program this summer?!
