To begin his tour, Jake Isaac chose to stop at the Maroquinerie. Full of humour, talent and joy, the London singer delighted the Parisian venue.

On the occasion of the release of his first album Our Lives, Jake Isaac gave us the pleasure of coming to play a concert in Paris this Friday, May 5th. For a little over an hour, he transported us into his sometimes joyful, sometimes moving world. Accompanied by his guitar and his 3 musicians, the singer from London managed to make the room dance unfortunately not very full.

After a handful of opening songs, Jake Isaac announced that there were two rules for this concert. "First rule: have fun. Second rule: if you can dance, please dance" Second rule: if you can dance, please dance). This established, the public had a great time. Thanks to his communicative good humor and his omnipresent smile, the whole room was drawn by him. The climax of the interaction between the audience and Jake came during the song I Got You which was covered in chorus by the 200 people present.

Jake Isaac, a talented Londoner

Over the songs, the singer did not only show us his good mood. Above all, he has shown us that he is extremely talented. His style of music may be reminiscent of Ben Howard or Michael Kiwanuka, but this Friday, Jake Isaac proved that he has nothing to envy them. His moving and sincere words combined with his beautiful voice are enough to enter his universe. The public proved it with the title Waiting Here, relatively known and apparently very popular.

The concert ended after an hour but the Maroquinerie did not intend to stop there. After several shouts and applause, the singer returned to the stage for a last song especially for us, while he had to quickly leave for Amsterdam for his concert the next day, he told us. For this final piece, the audience danced even more.

In the end, this Friday night, Jake Isaac stood out for his talent but especially for his warm and joyful mood. The public of the Maroquinerie came out delighted. Jake didn't hesitate to ask us to share his music around us. "I've got a child to feed" he said as the whole room burst out laughing. In any case, we will do it!
