Passing through Lille for his tour of the zeniths, Ibrahim Maalouf took the opportunity to discover the titles of the album Red & Black Light. A great opportunity to dance and sing to the jazzy rhythms of the musician.

To say that Ibrahim Maalouf put on a real show last night in Lille would be an understatement. Without any introduction, the Franco-Lebanese musician began the show by plunging us directly into the atmosphere of his latest album Red & Black Light. Maalouf would later explain that this album is a true declaration of love to the women of his family, who alone have been able to perpetuate the family ties. Between Essentials, Elephant's Tooth, Improbable or Red & Black Light (anthem of the album, according to the artist), Ibrahim Maalouf celebrates women in all their splendour.

IbrahimmaaloufThe quality of the trumpeter is to know how to skilfully mix rock and jazz sounds, with more oriental influences. A real world music. We even attend a biniou solo! Ibrahim Maalouf switches from keyboard to trumpet, through percussion, with a rather disarming ease. We constantly wonder how Ibrahim Maalouf creates this fluid and melodious sound. He even allowed himself a little challenge tonight, inviting students from the conservatories of Tourcoing and Lille to join him on stage for a title. Nice way to highlight the (maybe) future hopes of music.

The artist, a regular at concerts, takes advantage of this tour of the zeniths to celebrate his 10th birthday on stage. The opportunity also to release a live, available since October 7, gathering recordings made according to his years spent in concert halls. He will also celebrate this anniversary on stage at the Accor Hotel Arena on December 14. A great way to end his tour of the zeniths, which will still pass through Toulouse on October 14, Paris on December 3, Lyon on December 5 or Grenoble on the 12th of the same month.
