Homa makes us discover his 1st single The taste of old times. On the menu of this extract from his 1st album; Sumptuous pop, throbbing synths, and a music video that seeks the secret of life. Pop phenomenon.

With this first single from an album to be released on March 23 by Octopus / Simple / Sony Music, Homa gives in the visceral escape, the mental journey, the musical odyssey. An airy voice, a nonchalant rhythm, The Taste Of Old Times is a meditation on the time that passes or does not pass. An ideal piece to sail from black holes to wormholes in the corridors of time. Evoking in turn Massive Attack, Woodkid, and Au Revoir Simone, we say that Homa is well on its way to becoming one of the jewels of French pop, cultured and adventurous.

Here is the clip to discover, The taste of old times of Homa:

The taste of old times display great scriptwriting ambitions. The music video was co-produced by Katzika and Octopus – Les Éditions du Octopus, and was directed by Fabien Dubois with Timothé Rosenberg producing. In deserted landscapes and places, screens broadcast a strange message in a loop. The history of life on earth, from the first cells to space travel. Who, in this post-apocalyptic Urbex atmosphere, left this message and why? The single "The taste of old times", from his upcoming mini-album, was released on October 27, 2017 by Simple (Sony Music). Homa reveals her voice: the wordless music of the first EP has given way to songs, somewhere between Robert Wyatt and Mgmt, Jean-Michel Jarre and Phoenix.
