It is in a cozy little café located boulevard Richard Lenoir that Georgio receives us for a quick interview on the occasion of the release of his latest album Héra.
The young boy with a simple look, gives himself and returns to the writing of his album. We are in winter, it is already dark outside, the atmosphere is intimate; A perfect setting to exchange.
Hera: the light after the darkness of "Blue Black"
For Georgio, Hera is the logical continuation of the previous album. The life of the rapper taking a completely different turn in recent months, it seemed urgent and obvious to him to release new titles. Between two concerts, on the train, outside the capital or in Paris itself, Georgio does not stop, his pen stirs day and night on paper.
His texts are a reflection of his life but not only. For songs such as "Mama Rita", "Svetlana and Mayakovsky" or "The View of Blood", Georgio tells us stories.
"Finally, you understand, I am neither a whore nor a battered woman, but I do not invent anything, I am inspired by what surrounds me and I tell".
Bleu Noir tells a dark, trying part of the young rapper's life. After the release of this one, the desire was to breathe, to take a step back. But Georgio will lead such a hectic life, punctuated by tours, that the desire will be to share quickly and deliver Hera to us.
The rap world doesn't matter
Georgio didn't become a rapper because he wanted to, but because rap chose him. The rapper's influences are varied, he likes to explore and Hera is proof of that. The sounds sometimes flirt with rock. The guitar is also very present. In "Nos Futurs", we even perceive tints of electro. In short, an album that tells the story of life with an eclectic musical style. That's why rap chose him: he knows how to tell life in various ways.
Where does he come from and who is he?

Georgio grew up in the 18th arrondissement of Paris. He will attend various social backgrounds in high school. He is a cosmopolitan man, who embraces the mixture and blends into it. Georgio is one of those people who sets foot everywhere. However, he will be able to create a singular identity. Freeing himself from the codes of rap, he explores horizons in search of the best sauce. And what a sauce…
I am quite melancholic but I remain a young person full of hope and desires while being aware of the realities around me. On a daily basis? I feed on dreams and nightmares, and am rather apolitical. Moreover, I will never claim my political choices in my texts simply because I do not have any, I do not believe in them.
Women in rap: the border between respectable and reality
We are now addressing a subject that is close to our hearts because it concerns us. The rapper loves the woman, and dedicates several of these songs to her. For the young man, it is enough to know how to handle his texts to say raw and violent things. From there, it is possible to rap about facts as degrading as they are. It is a whole he tells us, "must be open-minded to understand the hidden meanings and know how to interpret with hindsight". He will refer in particular to Lasco's sound, Monday afternoon, "there is only my mother and my tshoin who call me Nicolas", to illustrate the acceptable hardcord. Georgio tolerates violence, as long as it remains confined to an art form. In everyday life, he will advocate wisdom.
You are an inspiring person, could you give us your message of peace?
So it would be a violent and paradoxical message of peace at the same time. It starts with violence and does not work for the big sons of bitches, but for the rest it would be to listen to yourself deep within yourself and do what you want to do.
