2 July: an exceptional opening

Jarvis Cocker, the former singer of Pulp, opens the ball and introduces Tip-Top, a character imagined by director Wes Anderson for his film The French Dispatch. An opportunity for the English musician to pay tribute to the French pop of the 1960s from which he often drew his inspiration. On the program, classy reinterpretations of titles interpreted by Françoise Hardy, Serge Gainsbourg, Christophe or Brigitte Bardot. And in the first part, it is none other than the famous Lisa Hannigan who returns for her third concert at Days Off 2022. She will perform songs that are both simple and sophisticated, which she reworked and rearranged in 2019 for a daring live record.

The concert will take place at the GRANDE SALLE PIERRE BOULEZ – PHILHARMONIE and prices range between 25€ and 45€.

July 3: Instrumental Chamber Music Ambience

On the second day, it's Wooden Elephant 's turn to take the stage to play Radiohead (Kid A). Led by violist Ian Anderson (who has previously collaborated with Radiohead), the ensemble competes in imagination to recreate these complex songs, from double bass, cello, viola and violins as well as some homemade crafts. Then Echo Collective will take over by playing Jóhann Jóhannsson's 12 Conversations with Thilo Heinzmann. We will discover the other facet of the talent of this grandiloquent artist. A facet closer to baroque music than to his previous works, where often protruded some electronic arrangements, here absent. It is therefore the ensemble Echo Collective that will honor this score on the stage of Days Off 2022.

Go to the CONCERT HALL – CITÉ DE LA MUSIQUE at the price of 20€.
