Eric Séva returns to tenor saxophone for the album Résonances, with the trio formula Triple Roots, jewel of European jazz released on the Laborie Jazz label. We present you some themes of this great album more complex than it seems. Eric Seva tells us at the outset: "I do not have the feeling of belonging to a music but of being inspired by all music in a constant need for "sound roaming". Whether scholarly, popular or traditional, this music feeds an artistic nomadism whose writing and improvisation are the common thread of these conversations that I like to share with the public." With Résonances which appears on the Laborie Jazz label, Eric Séva finds his roots and draws on world music with his new album Résonances which goes beyond borders. Meeting is the essence of music, especially world music and jazz. It is from her that improvisation stems, guided by absolute harmony. Based on this premise, saxophonist Éric Séva founded a trio with musicians, Kevin Reveyrand and Jean-Luc Di Fraya, whose deep artistic roots he shares, a passion for melodic and rhythmic conversations from popular music, a talent for sharing, among themselves and with the public.
