Electric Blue Cats has just unveiled a surprising clip for Change Your Partner, a new single from the album of the trio of gifted musicians. We discover the video in the music selection of the week of JustFocus. Electric Blue Cats is the name of a new band ready to take the French scene by storm. Formed in 2020, we find in the line-up drummer Salah Khaïli and guitarist Christophe Taddei who are ready to bewitch us with their completely bewitching jam sessions perfectly expressed on their first album named Live Session. Here is an unusual band with a style or should I say a mixture of several styles including electro, funk disco and a hint of African music. They are three musicians with the bass line of Emmanuel Sunee, which serves as keystone, embellished by the pure and sharp playing of drummer Salah Khaïli and enhanced by the airy melodies of guitarist Christophe Tito Taddei. Electric Blue Cats tries a musical experiment by creating a very syncopated funk rhythm. All this with the electronic effects elaborated with the instruments – guitar, bass, drums. 
Change Your Partner is enjoyed with a completely crazy clip, between dream and nightmare, a graphic wonder like you will not see again anytime soon! The title evokes the painful dilemma posed by a breakup. A difficult moment, a hard decision, but one that brings liberation and joy. Besides, the song with hip hop accents is funky as hell. The album released on March 15 is a beautiful demonstration of groove and invokes great predecessors like Cream or The Jimi Hendrix Experience. It was first a duo created in 2020 with Salah and Christophe, and it was the addition of Emmanuel that made the formation take off, which the first single Dark Floor demonstrated brilliantly. The album recorded in March 2021 at the Seine studio by director Fred Lafage is a real guilty pleasure. The live performances prove it, these 3 are made to share pleasure with their audience, with solos, big drums and orgasmic rhythm.
