Delphine Coutant has returned to the studios. After "Parades Nuptiales", the singer-songwriter releases "La Nuit Philharmonique", a disc that contrasts with "Parades Nuptiales". The previous album is a day album, a flamboyant, lively album, anchored in the earth. This one is nocturnal, a night filled with sounds, with all the little glimmers that we see. The real night is also everything that escapes us, the shadows, our relationship to madness. With this new album, the music is revealed, shrouded in shadows. The semi-darkness hides its mysteries and makes this album a permanent enchantment. Delphine Coutant has earned her stripes on stage for fifteen years, by dint of original projects and unexpected songs. She imposed her style, between organic melodies and pictorial texts, always pushing back a little more the shackles of French song. The texts seem to be born from nothing, from unstable sands, from a plain, from the air that cools, from a ghost, from a naval battle, almost pretexts. Where discordant elements, strange pieces of a nocturnal dramaturgy that, with each listening, secretes its mysteries, even reinforces them.

We know Delphine's summer activity as a salt worker, in the salt marshes of Guérande, and we find in her music this freedom, this thirst for space and adventures, exploration …. The artist is accustomed to singular staging and places. She juggles between large halls, homestay concerts, performances on a lake. She will also be touring the lakes of France this summer with her floating piano, which promises extraordinary concerts between water, night, and fog.
