Dafuniks reformed for a new EP Brakes On which was released on March 31. The two hip hop producers JustMike and Dj Nyber unveil the animated clip of the song, carried by the flow of rapper Particle Man. The video takes us back into the graphic universe of the South Park cartoon. Five years after a first opus, Dafuniks is back in March with the EP "Brakes On", a new joyful anthem to the fusion between brilliant samples and sensual acoustic groove, between devastating breakbeats and soul and hip hop voices. A new success for the two Danish producers with golden fingers. Dafuniks is above all a composite identity where HIP-HOP-SOUL phrasing and funky arrangements on pop/soul melodies mix. Dafuniks started its career in 2008 and since then the band has attracted a lot of attention around the world. From sold-out theaters, to a first album considered today as a classic, music used in films, commercials … The rise has been incredible and for more than a decade the group has shared the stage with many teenage idols and has collaborated with a crazy number of talents: from Afrika Baby Bam (Jungle Brothers), Mattic, Asm, Pigeon John, to the genius of Danish rap Particle Man. The latter also carries the new single Brakes On after the powerful and very listened to Soul Searching. A piece that finds a wide echo in the period we are going through. This new single already announces another that will see the return of the legendary voice of the group's historic rapper: Kuku Agami! No more doubt the Dafuniks are back. "You better run and move a little faster Is what they say when you're heading for disaster I say – put the brakes on now Time to wait now Be a little late right now But if you don't you be stranded on the platform Well that's a good place to build and to transform So put the brakes on now Time to wait now Be a little late right now… " excerpt from the title Brakes On The two Danes create a funky sound, woven with soul vibes, bringing together live instruments, breakbeats & samples.
