Another beautiful evening offered by Virgin Radio and Sony Music. Creative Live Session #9 allowed us to discover Malo', listen to Fishbach, vibrate to Loïc Nottet and dance with Beth Ditto. What happiness!

The Yoyo hosted Tuesday, May 30 the 9th edition of the Creative Live Session. A large audience and fans had gathered there to spend a great moment of live music.

Malo' opens the ball

A young man with blonde curls arrives on stage and will completely conquer the room after 5 titles. It didn't take more to warm up the Yoyo and lead the audience with its joyful, light and bouncing music. Successful lesson in seduction, this young cherub already has a crazy energy and a beautiful aura.

His next album Be/Être will be released on June 23. He will be on October 4 on the stage of the Boule Noire.

During the stage between, we meet Yanis and Nikki Nikki at the bar.

Fishbach in subtlety

The new singer of the French musical landscape, Fishbach arrived on stage with a disconcerting nonchalance. Settled, the notes soon rose and the room began to undulate. There is no need to say, the recipe works well. A sound very borrowed from the 80s (we think of Niagara), texts in French on an assumed and sometimes dragging voice. A band to listen to carefully!

Flora and her band are preparing to fly to Quebec and will tour festivals this summer before a date at the Bataclan on October 27.

Loïc Nottet eagerly awaited

We no longer present this singer of The Belgian Voice who conquered Europe with his hit Million Eyes. After a visit last weekend at the Salle Pleyel, Loïc Nottet stopped at Yoyo for some titles and for our greatest pleasure. He appeared in the audience on the title Mud Blood before joining the stage accompanied by the cries of the audience. He says that it is surely his favorite song of the album.
A thrill of excitement and emotion then runs through the audience when he announces Million Eyes. This title really allows you to become aware of the emotional strength of your voice. The audience remains hanging on his lips.
It is very hot in the room and the temperature will rise a notch when he continues with Poison. He will share much more than his enthusiasm with his fans, dancing and moving like a real stage beast, with the flexibility of a feline. The next song is Hungry Heart which he confesses to having written while watching Snow White. He wanted to tell an all-consuming story.
Loïc Nottet will conclude his set with Mirror, the conclusion of his first album Selfocracy which is also carrying the message of tolerance he wanted to deliver. Great time! Too short unfortunately…

We will have to wait until the end of the year, on December 12, to be able to see him again at the Olympia!

The divine Beth Ditto ends the evening in style!

And what better way to finish than Gossip's sublime and powerful voice.

We had sorely missed her and she came back in shape. A little alcoholic but still fun and open, Beth Ditto came to make us discover her first solo album which will be released on June 16th. Always authentic and spontaneous, her set will be transformed into a real One Woman Show. Between joke, questioning the public (she will end up calling one of her fans Dad: "Daddy comes home, stop hitting me the poster"), she will even be offered a beer …
This crazy artist really deserves her success and we are happy to see her back on stage! Among the songs, we will of course have been entitled to Fire and Oolala, the first two extracts of Fake Sugar, but also a big nod to Gossip with the tube Heavy Cross to the delight of his fans of the first hour which will conclude his appearance in Paris.
Big crush for the title We Could Run. We haven't been able to listen to the album in its entirety yet, but we can only say that the spirit of Gossip still hovers over Beth Ditto: What it takes of groove and mixed rock. A real delight for the ears!

After a full Flow, Beth Ditto will also be on the move to festivals this summer; she will return to Paris at the Bataclan on October 7.

A memorable evening thanks to Virgin Radio and Sony Music! We'll be back
