The English singer is spoiling us right now. Just 2 weeks ago, we discovered a superb clip for the song What I Miss Most. Tender and full of adventure, a slice of life that moves fast and returns to basics. We completely fell for this song, surely one of the strongest of the album Only Human released on March 9th.
But the most beautiful surprise, arrived this Friday, June 1st, is certainly this new version of You Are The Reason! Indeed, the singer is currently having fun reinterpreting this song everywhere he goes. We had already seen the one with Leona Lewis and the previous version was with Ilse DeLange, a Dutch singer.
This time, he fell for a little French girl we love: Barbara Pravi, who opened her concert at Yoyo.
They met on the set of Taratata where they were able to sing for the first time as a duet a cover of Something Stupid by Frank and Nancy Sinatra. Already, Calum Scott had tried to integrate some passages in French (encouraged by Barbara?) and the exercise seems to have pleased him.
Upon his return to Paris it seemed essential to him to find the bubbly brunette!

Less universal, but still as poetic and strong, the song keeps the same emotion. We feel that Calum had to work hard to sing the text in French, but we are delighted to see him become familiar with the language of Molière.
