Buridane is preparing his new album for May 12, a record produced by Féloche from which we savor in extract the clip Pluie Voodoo. Buridane and Féloche, an alliance that seems irresistible, between the darkness of the texts of one and the solar music of the other, with frenzied mandolins that hit the mark every time. We've been following the career of singer Buridane for a while. We were looking forward to the release of his next album, and finally it is announced for May 12th with a French tour that passes the day of the release at the Café de la Danse in Paris. His next album is an investigation, a bridge between Colette, the heroine of the story and the artist. Between two epochs that look at each other in mirror, between death and life, between yesterday and today. Buridane puts all her energy into this game of Russian dolls. She summons a ghost who has things to say, a dialogue, a dream of emancipation, a mythology to write and sing. To present her new clip Pluie Voodoo, which she directed with Féloche, here is how Buridane presented the title on Facebook : "Have you ever been bewitched by the absence of the other? As if you were caught in the flames of a fire that could not be extinguished? Felt the lack as a suave litany? Maybe even to the point of pain? Your desire running aground in the void? Like a letter in post restoration? A phone still ringing? " Impressed as much by the spiritual dimension of singer Tracy Chapman as by the flow of rapper Buck 65, she navigates from the luminous pop of Pierre Jaconelli, to her own colors that she explores through aerial choruses and hip-hop touches. To his credit: Chantier des Francos, Adami Prize, winner of the FAIR, favorite of the Charles Cros Academy, a remarkable passage at the Avignon Festival,… Here is the clip of Voodoo Rain to discover: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yrouq7TD64
