All fans have been waiting for the return of the Swedish group ABBA for more than two years. Separated for more than 40 years, the pop group is expected to release new songs this year. The band originally consisted of Agnetha Fältskog, Anni-Frid Lyngstad, known as "Frida", Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus. Last year, ABBA's Bjorn Ulvaeus said surprises were to be expected in 2020. And a few days ago, the singer and songwriter confirmed to CNBC that the band will indeed release new songs this year. As he recalled, the return to the studio did not fail to move the legendary band. Benny Andersson announced the release of new songs at the beginning of the year: "They arrive this year, after the summer," he says. https://www.instagram.com/p/CAqKFhpnu3C/
"It took barely a minute for us to feel like we went back in time and found ourselves as if it was yesterday," said the interpreter of Mamma Mia. It was so strange. That feeling between us was extraordinary."
A long-awaited return
"The four of us feel that after 35 years, it would be fun to join forces again to get back into the recording studio. And that's what we did," the group said in a statement.
Fans will be rewarded for their patience. In 2018, the legendary group went into the studio to record two new titles. These are "I still have faith in you" and "Don't shut me down". We remember the famous holographic tour announced two years ago. It never saw the light of day. Fans hope this time that the Swedish pop group will keep its promises.
