Created in 2008 by Guillaume Muller, VoidFactory is a solo project of post-rock, ambient, steampunk. After three albums that have transported us, a fourth, entitled Okopova, is scheduled for November 5th.

VoidFactory

More peaceful than the previous albums , Okopova keeps a melancholic tone. A real dive into a steampunk universe, VoidFactory lulls us with sounds evoking from the first notes the mechanism of a clock. Mostly atmospheric, the album Okopova still rocks us with the warm and deep voice of Guillaume Muller in Eva's Boat. Like the boat evoked in the song, the instruments evoke often calm and sometimes raging waves that rock his listeners from one piece to another.

In the title Ocean Of Trees In A Bleach Lake, we are even tempted by the song of the siren Marion Dufour, which accompanies the breath of the wind coming to caress the sails of our boat.Captain reigning supreme over Okopova, the man with the red flag of the album cover stands on the devastated ruins of Warsaw, in a world that surprises us all the same with its beauty.

Made entirely at home, Okopova offers a multitude of instruments able to transmit the soul of the pieces without words being necessary like what the title of the eighth track tells us:

"There is no use for words"

Where the previous opuses were based more on more epic and orchestral sounds, this one offers a more intimate atmosphere, like a dream whispered in our ear. This dreamlike and poetic aspect stands out wonderfully in the misty clip of Eva's Boat.

Like drops of water falling on dry and rough ground, the impactful notes water us with their softness, giving an impression of passage, always too short, in the world of wonders of VoidFactory.
