2 Chainz released his new album So Help Me God! on November 13, after pushing it back many times. Composed of 15 tracks, this new project is a real gem! Born Tauheed Epps, the American rapper is nicknamed "Tity Boi" by his mother. Nickname that he will keep for the beginning of his musical career. It was in 2011 that the artist decided to rename himself 2 Chainz, a stage name that he found "more friendly". The same year, the rapper released a mixtape entitled T.A.U. REALigion, which became his first mixtape to chart chart. With this success, he collaborates with essential artists like Kanye West on the sound Mercy, or Nicki Minaj on Beez In the Trap. In 2012, 2 Chainz announced their debut album Based on a T.A.U. Story. The album debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart, selling 147,000 copies after its first week of release. The rapper is also nominated for three Grammy Awards, including Best Rap Album. In 2013 he released his second album B.O.Has.T.S. II: Me Time features artists such as Pharrell Williams, Drake, Lil Wayne, T-Pain and many others. This new project sold 63,000 copies one week after publication and reached number three on the Billboard 200.

A highly anticipated new album

Originally scheduled for September, So Help Me God! is available since November 13. A project to which the rapper brought a more personal touch. On the cover is a photo of him younger. An approach he explained via an Instagram post : "I know that many artists have already used photos of them as a baby or child to tell their story or illustrate their journey, but this time it's different! It's me in 4th. This is a photo serving as proof, because most of us could not afford to buy the complete pack of photos […] I was an aspiring drug dealer and an occasional thief (when my father went to jail he told me that if I stole, I had to take stuff I needed and not wanted to). If I had the opportunity to say one thing to this person today, I would tell him not to give up, times are hard, but they are not eternal." For So Help Me God!, 2 Chainz has collaborated with many rappers like Kanye West , Lil Uzi Vert, Rick Ross, Lil Wayne and many others. The music video for Can't Go For That ft. Ty Dolla Sign and Lil Duval, present on the album, is also online. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G9-XNrgKqIY
