On the poster of this promising film, we find headliner Joaquin Phoenix. The British director offers a strong and powerful lead role to the 42-year-old American actor. His performance earned him the Best Actor Award at the Cannes Film Festival last May.
A Beautiful Day tells the story of Joe, a traumatized and hyper-violent war veteran. When a senator's daughter disappears, he goes looking for her. The trailer augurs a powerful and intense work, where violence is at the heart.
