All in a single shot-sequence, which promises for Woody Harrelson!
Woody Harrelson, you've seen him in Welcome to Zombieland, True Detective and of course The Hunger Games, but you've never seen him behind the camera before! And that's normal, because this is a first for the actor. The object of the challenge is called Lost in London and it should be shot on January 19. The idea is to shoot a film in the streets of London and broadcast it live in 550 cinemas ! For the screenplay, the actor was inspired by a piece of his experience: fifteen years earlier, he broke an ashtray in a London taxi and, one adventure leading to another, he spent the night in prison.
It's a real movie, with fourteen different shooting locations and a cast of thirty people. (…) One camera, one take.
Huge challenge that Woody Harrelson throws himself, since in addition to wearing the director's hat, he wrote the script and is the main character of this film! For this, he will be alongside actors Owen Wilson (Zoolander) and Willie Wilson and his cinematographer Nigel Willoughby. A live-streamed sequence shot has never been done in cinema: as Harrelson says, "No one has been stupid enough to do it. Until now."
No screening in France among the 550 cinemas concerned, but we wish him that everything works and that we can quickly take a look at the result!
