Jason Reitman is part of this talented generation of Canadian filmmakers. His international aura is not at the level of his colleagues Denis Villeneuve and Jean-Marc Vallée, but we will remember several films from his filmography such as Thank you for smoking and Juno. He returns this year with a comedy-drama, Tully.

First strong argument for this new project, the headliner embodied by Charlize Theron. She is not playing a rebel weapons expert or the villain of a global franchise. The actress here is a simple mother, a female heroine who fights daily to raise her children. While she already has to take care of two children, she is preparing to fight again against the pangs of everyday life with a third.

In front of her, the excellent Mackenzie Davis. One of the rising actresses seen in Blade Runner 2049. Series enthusiasts will remember her performance in the series that tells us the world of computers in the 80s, Halt & Catch Fire.

In France, the film will be distributed theatrically by Mars Distribution. It will be released for the summer season, on June 27, 2018.

A great way to start the summer with a team that has touched us on quality productions like Juno or Young Adult.
