A new Halloween? This is news that both rejoices and frightens. Indeed, between the more or less unfortunate sequels and the much discussed version of Rob Zombie released in 2007, fans have something to wonder. Let's see what this trailer shows us.
The first interesting thing about this new Halloween is first of all that it is a sequel, not a reboot.
Several decades after the first film, Michael Myers escapes again from the asylum to join the small suburb he had terrorized years before and find Laurie Strode, determined to take revenge.
Fans will be happy to find Carpenter as producer, and who chose David Gordon Green as director. But their greatest joy will be to find Jamie Lee Curtis who will embody a Laurie Strode, aged but seasoned.
The style of the film, although adapted to our time with good gore from the teeth rolling on the floor in one of the scenes unveiled, will perhaps resume the intelligent game of hide and seek of the original, because the clip of the end shows the famous bogeyman well hidden in a closet…
Halloween will be released on October 24, 2018, so in the meantime, it's time to review the entirety to get ready!
